The research group “Arts in Society” investigates the influence of societal - technological, scientific, economic, cultural, political (…) changes on artistic practice(s) and tries to describe and explain them. Based on, among others, the insights of Critical Theory we are assessing the possibilities of an ideological positioning of the arts in society.
