Each study programme at Fontys University of Applied Sciences has it's own specific admission requirements and enrolment procedure. The tuition fee can also differ.

Registering at Fontys

You may register to follow a bachelor programme at Fontys via Studielink. In The Netherlands, one of the legal requirements when commencing a course of study at a higher education level is that you also register at the IB-Groep (Informatie Beheer Groep = Information Management Group). Via Studielink, however, this IB-Groep registration will be arranged automatically. Therefore, you will not need to separately contact the IB-Groep in order to register.

Consequently, Studielink makes your life easier, as you can manage your registration for a particular course, change your address or contact details or manage your study financing with the IB-Groep through just one portal. Also, as Studielink is an online service, you can do this whenever this is convenient for you, i.e. 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

To register for one of the Fontys bachelor programmes, please follow the following steps:

1. Visit the Courses Available section of the Fontys website by selecting the bachelor or master programme of your choice on this site.
2. By selecting the associated link, Register, you will be automatically redirected to the appropriate page on the Studielink website.

When NOT to use Studielink

In some cases, registration and enrolment for a course is not possible via Studielink, but must be arranged by contacting Fontys directly, as follows:

• Master’s Degree Programme: If you are interested in registering for one of the Master’s degree programmes at Fontys, please visit the Courses Available section of the Fontys website by selecting the master programme of your choice on this site. There you will find further information regarding the associated enrolment procedure.
• Courses: Fontys offers a wide range of courses. Further information regarding all courses is available via the Fontys Extens website.
• Preparatory Study Year: If you wish to follow a preparatory study year at Fontys, please contact the Fontys Information Telephone via +31 (0)877 877 877.
• Advancing a Study Year: If you are currently following another course, but wish to transfer to a different course, or if you believe that on the basis of your previous educational qualifications, you should be entitled to commence a particular course at Fontys as from the second year (or higher), please contact the Fontys Information Telephone via +31 (0)877 877 877.
